A few things worth keeping handy.
File names
Short names are easier to work with. Avoid special characters when moving files between different systems.
Large uploads
Leave the browser tab open until the transfer has finished.
Mobile browsers
Fine for checking a file. A desktop browser is easier when moving several things around.
Backups
Keep a second copy of anything important on another device.
